PRIVACY CONSENT AGREEMENT

By submitting your application and personal information to Cupbearer Coffee Shop (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Privacy Consent Agreement. The Company is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and guidelines from the National Privacy Commission (NPC).

  1. Collection of Personal Data
    1.1. We collect and process personal data that you provide as part of your application for employment with the Company. This may include, but is not limited to, your name, address, contact number, email address, educational background, employment history, and other information you voluntarily supply in your résumé or application documents.
    1.2. The personal data collected is necessary for recruitment-related purposes. We only collect personal data that is directly relevant and necessary for these purposes.

  2. Purposes of Processing
    2.1. Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
    - Evaluating your qualifications, suitability, and eligibility for employment;
    - Verifying the information you have provided (e.g., reference or background checks);
    - Communicating with you regarding the status of your application;
    - Complying with legal and regulatory requirements.
    2.2. We will not process your personal data for purposes other than those stated above without first obtaining your explicit consent or unless required or permitted by law.

    3.1. The Company will keep your personal data confidential and will only share it with authorized personnel (e.g., HR team, relevant hiring managers) who have a legitimate need to review and process your application.

In the event of an unsuccessful application, your personal data may be kept for a reasonable period for future job opportunities, unless you request otherwise.

    In accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
    5.1. Right to be Informed – You have the right to be informed whether your personal data will be, are being, or were processed.
    5.2. Right to Access – You have the right to request access to your personal data and obtain a copy of the information relating to its processing.
    5.3. Right to Object – You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data if the purpose is not covered under the terms of this Agreement or authorized by law.
    5.4. Right to Erasure or Blocking – You have the right to suspend, withdraw, or order the blocking, removal, or destruction of your personal data if it is incomplete, outdated, unlawfully obtained, used for unauthorized purposes, or no longer necessary for the stated purpose.
    5.5. Right to Rectify – You have the right to dispute any inaccuracies or errors in your personal data and have them corrected immediately.
    5.6. Right to Data Portability – You have the right to obtain a copy of your personal data in an electronic or structured format, where applicable.
    5.7. Right to Complain – You have the right to lodge a complaint before the National Privacy Commission if you believe there has been a violation of your rights as a data subject.

  7. Consent and Acknowledgment
    By submitting your personal data and choosing you agree, you confirm that:
    7.1. You have read and understood the terms of this Privacy Consent Agreement;
    7.2. You give your full consent for the Company to collect, use, store, and process your personal data for the purposes stated herein;
    7.3. You understand that you may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to the conditions and limitations under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and other relevant laws and regulations.
